ATTENTION LINCOLN PARK
RESIDENTS The Office of Emergency Management has recently
completed the installation of the "ALERT WARNING SIRENS". The sirens are
used to notify the residents of any serious weather emergencies (flooding,
hurricanes, etc.). THE SIRENS WILL NOT BE USED FOR SCHOOL CLOSINGS, (SNOW

In the event of weather related emergency, the sirens will be
activated. Siren activation should alert residents to monitor Channel 71 or
their local weather station for any weather related information.
THE
SIREN SYSTEM SERVES TWO SEPARATE FUNCTIONS:

any potential flooding, the sirens will blast for SEVEN SECONDS, SEVEN TIMES.
- In the event there is
flooding and residents need to evacuate, the sirens will blast CONTINUOUSLY for
at least 70 seconds. There may be more than one cycle.
The Emergency Sirens are
separate from the Fire Sirens. The Emergency Sirens will be TESTED MONTHLY. The test will be conducted on the
LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH at 5:00PM. Should
